NY1 anchor and host of VH1’s World Series of Pop Culture came to us a month or so ago with an idea. Turning his televised daily segment “In the Papers” into a website that covers papers from all over the globe.

His idea came to life a couple of weeks ago when we launched www.patspapers.com.

You all should check it out; it really is a great way to catch up on the news around the world. And I’m not only saying that because he’s one of our wonderful clients, but I actually watch the daily broadcast on his site to know what’s going on.

Among many other media shout-outs for the new venture with Mr. Kiernan, there was this nice little nod to the design from The New York Observer:

“For Pat Kiernan fans, there's a lot to love about the new venture, including the design (which for some reason kind of reminds us of the Greta Van Susteren's GretaWire)…”

To be honest with you I don’t think it feels anything like Greta Van Susteren’s site, but I’ll still live with the nod.
